Fruits of a wild coastal hedgerow

Bí Elixir is a blend of organic and infused plant oils with spectacular properties for skin, hair and nails, that thrive uncultivated in the Irish landscape. A new product based on research in our Bí URBAN lab, Bí ELIXIR has been designed to support Ireland’s transition toward climate neutrality. Unfortunately, none of the cold pressed organic oils chosen for this blend are commercially produced in Ireland today, despite their proven benefits and abundant availability in Irish landscapes. By celebrating the valuable properties of these native pollinator friendly plants found in Irish hedgerows, we hope to highlight new potential areas for Irish agriculture that support increased biodiversity and climate neutrality.

Use a few drops daily to nourish and rejuvenate skin, hair & nails. Apply it neat on damp skin or use it as an ingredient to experiment with making your own preservative free natural products.

Simple Bí ELIXIR Face Cream Recipe:

Bring all ingredients to room temperature. In a ceramic bowl, use a small whisk to blend one tablespoon Bí ELIXIR with 2-3 tablespoons Aloe Vera and ½ a teaspoon raw natural honey. Whip into a smooth light cream. Add 6-10 drops of essential oil with benefits for your skin type (rose, neroli, geranium, bergamot and lavender are standards). Store in a clean glass jar with a lid. No need to refrigerate.

Ingredients: Borage oil, Burdock oil, Elderberry oil, Evening Primrose oil, Hawthorn oil, Horsetail oil, Plum Kernel oil, Plantain oil, Raspberry oil, Rosehip oil, Sea Buckthorn oil, Seaweed camelina oil infusion. Available in small trial size 30ml glass dropper bottle, or a standard 50ml glass dropper bottle.
